Dear Beloved Ohana,
What a great Wednesday night last week. Didn’t you enjoy it? I know I sure did! It was very different and we can never repeat the fellowship time we had. I do know that all the flavor-ice that was eaten will live in our memories as much as Lee’s stories. Thanks guys for a wonderful time in fun and fellowship! Thanks to Erica for bringing Miah! You guys rock!
This week is the beginning of the new stuph! We are going to have a new format. I hope everyone is there! If you want, bring a friend!
Upcoming Events:
- Next Sunday morning, I have a speaking engagement. I will be here Sunday night for bible study.
- Sunday August 31, 2008 - My family will be on a mini-vacation for the labor day weekend. I will have my phone in case anyone needs me.
- Wednesday August 20, 2008 - We will add worship and other activities to the schedule.
- Sunday nights will be from 4 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. with a weekly focus on spiritual topics: faith and salvation. Then we will kick-off our positive i.d. program on August 24, 2008.
- September 5, we will have a 5 th quarter activity at the church after the Central vs. Halls game. I have my friend Dusty who is a DJ coming and other activities planned for the evening. We need volunteers for that night for all sorts of activities.
- September 7, 2008 we will have our luncheon to raise funds for the youth wing upgrades. Please see Pastor Don about food if you were going to help last time. The teens will be helping me set-up the downstairs.
